Global Reach I launched my YouTube channel Surgical Educator mainly to teach surgery to all my students in my medical school Since YouTube is an international platform, I am able to reach out to medical students all over the world. Sitting at my home in Malaysia, I am able to reach out medical students from Argentina to Japan and from Finland to Australia. This is the amazing power of YouTube.

Resource for my Flip Class I have been using the flip class model, in my teaching for the past 6 years ever since I have launched my YouTube channel “Surgical Educator” I usually share my YouTube videos and other learning resources of a particular surgical problem with my students and ask them to read and learn at home. In the class, I discuss the various case scenarios of that particular surgical problem. Students should apply their knowledge gained by watching my YouTube videos and should solve the problem. I think this is a powerful way of teaching students which results in immersive and transformational learning .
